Happy almost mid-January from the crew here at Kingfisher! Though it feels like a few weeks have passed since New Year’s Eve, somehow we’re still in the single digits. For those of you who are being responsible and are still adhering to your New Year’s resolutions (or, if you’re just not a person who drinks or enjoys alcohol), I wanted to point out our large selection of handcrafted and curated spirit-free items, because while water is essential, it’s also occasionally boring. In other news, The Tucson Jazz Festival is figuratively and literally rocking next week (January 16-24), and we’re excited to partner with them as a preferred restaurant, and we’re offering a limited-time discount during the festival on our signature Rat Pack Manhattan (bourbon, sweet vermouth, Angostura bitters, cherry, served up). We hope you come check out some of the awesome artists performing, and stop in for dinner and/or drinks either before or after!

In other news, we just launched our new website, and we’re working on finalizing a Valentine’s Day menu. For Valentine’s Day we’ll be doing our regular thing where we turn off our fryers, so we have most of our normal menu (minus burgers, ribs and fried things), as well as some lovely a la carte appetizer, entree, and dessert specials for your evening. We’ve already got quite a few reservations, so I would recommend booking your spot quickly online or by giving us a call at 520.323.7739
Right after Valentine’s Day, Mardi Gras approaches! Tuesday, February 17 is Fat Tuesday, and of course, we are continuing the longstanding Kingfisher tradition of Mardi Gras classics, including gumbo, étouffée, jambalaya, fried green tomatoes, and beignets. Grab your reservations while they last!
